It is time to join the band and become your own rock legend. “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock” for the PlayStation 2 features more than 70 tracks, many that use master recordings from the original artists. Songs include “u201CAnarchy in the U.K.”u201D by the Sex Pistols and “u201CCult of Personality”u201D by Living Colour. Compete against real-life legends, such as Slash and Tom Morello. During various points in the game, these musicians confront you, and the object is for you to perform better than them at their own songs and drain their “rock meter.” As in earlier versions, you can embark on a career, earning money to unlock new characters, guitars, songs, and other surprises while competing in an assortment of different venues.
